Many Nepali families moved to Bhutan hundreds of years ago. My family was also part of that migration. However, after residing in Bhutan for many years, they and many Nepali-speaking Bhutanese were forcefully evicted by the King of Bhutan starting in 1988. I was just two years old when my parents arrived at the eastern border of Nepal. We ended up living as refugees in our nation because Nepal did not accept us as citizens since we had left for Bhutan several years earlier.Nepal

Canada
The highest number of Nepalese-speaking individuals in Canada is found in Lethbridge. My family began attending a nearby church after moving to Lethbridge, Alberta, in 2009. In 2016, I married my wonderful wife Rekha, and we now have two small children, Precious and Peter. God gave us the vision to build a church in 2016, and Win Back the World in Christ Church of Lethbridge was born with a few believers. In no time, our church went from just a few believers to hundreds. Now, we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with many Nepali-speaking individuals while anticipating its profound impact on their lives. We meet at Third Day Victory Church on Sundays at 1 PM, where I, the senior pastor, preach in Nepali. We believe God has a beautiful purpose, and many people will come to know our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
